MONTHLY WORKSHOP UPDATE - JUNE '25

We've been flat-out again this month, getting cars race-ready, wrapping up engine builds, and saying goodbye to a few old friends (yes, literally). Here's a behind-the-scenes look at what’s been happening at Bennett Racing HQ this June:

🔧 AN ENGINE LEAVES THE NEST…

Another one down — and this big lump of horsepower is off to live its best life. 🔥

This freshly built Big Block Chevy short block has officially left the Bennett Racing garage — rebuilt, refreshed, and ready to rumble. We’ve spent so much time with it, we were half tempted to name it… but alas, it’s off to a new home where burnouts and rev limiters await.

• 🧰 Torque wrench therapy: complete

• 🛠 Crank snugged down just right

• 🛞 Still cleaner than our coffee mugs

To the new owner: treat it right, feed it good oil, and don’t forget to send us a burnout video. 😎

Now if you’ll excuse us, we’re off to build its big brother...

🚐 FAREWELL TO FIBREGLASS: THE TOPOLINO HEADS OUT

One of the longest-standing pieces in the workshop — the '32 Fiat Topolino body — finally left the shop this month. She's been with us through countless mock-ups, ideas, delays, and dreams… and now, she’s heading off to a new owner who’s ready to bring her to life.

“She’s absorbed dust, dodged forklifts, and worn everything from race paint to coffee stains. Bit emotional, really.”

We hope she gets the wild second life she deserves — and when on track again, we can’t wait to see it.
