As great grandaughter of this great man, it is a real treat to read of stuff he achieved which I had not known. My grandfather, also 'Wag' who passed away in 1989 was very similar to his dad what with his workshop and his mechanical and engineering ability. He also competed in trials riding of course as early as 1939, on one occasion being caught up in Germany at the start of the war. My mother Renee followed in his footsteps and became a world class trials rider. Remarkable achievements.

Alan, good to hear from you, yeah remember the block, glad its all going well for you. We made the scoop in house, LOTS of hours in it but well worth it for the extra power.
