6th September 2010 - Charlie Bennett Photo Discovery
Photo discovered over the weekend of my great granddad Charles 'Wag' Bennett who was the winner of the 3 mile & 5 mile motorcycle races at Tunbridge Wells, August 1st 1904 on a 'Kerry' motor.
Very proud to see photos like these, especially the year as 1904! He was aged just 22 in this photo. Guy behind worked in his workshop for him.
